Fit for the Future: Women's Lifestyle

My dissertation was a in depth piece of research about the women's new fitness lifestyle. As women of today are constantly bombarded with images of slim, perfect and fit women, that are increasingly concerned with their appearance. My research focused on the rise of fitness and wellness in women's lives. From fashion we have 'athleisure', activewear worn as casual wear; with retailers increasing their activewear offerings to accompany this. The sportswear market is growing faster than any other sector, the key drivers are analysed to show the effect they have had on this industry. Highlighting the rise of wellness centres and how they have and will continue to pioneer new trends in fitness, by encompassing mindfulness.
